Capturing the Wild, the Worn, and the Wonder
Ray Miller – Photographer, Storyteller, Outdoorsman
Welcome. I’m Ray Miller—a lifelong outdoorsman, storyteller, and photographer with a deep passion for wild places.
From the icy beaches of Iceland to the tundra of Labrador, my work is rooted in a desire to preserve the fleeting moments of nature’s raw beauty. I picked up my first camera—a Nikon EM—at the age of 10 and haven’t put it down since. That early passion eventually led me to the Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography, where I formally honed my craft and deepened my understanding of visual storytelling.
My photography focuses on the untamed: towering peaks, shifting light, glacial blues, wind-sculpted trees, and wildlife in its natural rhythm. Whether I’m waist-deep in a trout stream or hiking into the alpine at dawn, I aim to capture the honesty of the moment and the soul of the land.
Each image in my collection is more than a pretty scene—it’s a window into a wilder world. These are photographs made to bring the outdoors into your home, office, or cabin; to inspire calm, awe, and connection; and to remind us of the beauty we need to protect.
If you're interested in purchasing prints, licensing images, or working together on a project, I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for visiting—enjoy the view.
